Mining Mechs brings subterranean action and fast-paced resource management to consoles

Coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox platforms September 4th


Hong Kong – August 26, 2024 – Independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft Limited proudly announced today that side-scrolling resource management sim and underground exploration game Mining Mechs will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on Wednesday, September 4th.

Mining Mechs is a fast-paced action game that mixes retro pixel art visuals with fun and innovative resource collection. Players will purchase and upgrade different types of drilling machines to get down and dirty, tunneling through the earth to find valuable materials and transport them back to the surface, all while building their profits and meeting story objectives. With fluid animation and an intuitive interface, Mining Mechs supplies infinite replayability to prospective players itching to get their dig on!

Originally developed by Delayed Victory and ported for consoles by Eastasiasoft Limited, Mining Mechs launches at US$4.99/€4.99 for the base game or US$6.49/€6.49 bundled with the Magnetic Mystery DLC, also available separately. This DLC allows players to explore a new map and storyline set in the arctic. Also, a 20% launch discount will be available for a limited time for select regions and platforms.

Strange noises and weird activities have been detected underground and you've been called in to help! Mining Mechs is a retro 2D action game presented in fluid pixel art style! Commandeer a high-tech mining mech to dig deep into the earth and collect valuable resources. Sell those resources on the surface to earn money, which you'll need to upgrade your mech or buy new ones.

Each mech has its own benefits and will help you explore the depths even further. Don't think your quest will be easy, though. The deeper you get, the tougher it gets! Will you unravel the dark secrets of the underground, or will you come up against challenges that push your digging skills to the limit?
